The short answer
Where to start
Before requesting delivery, ask the property about access for the exact type of car and identify a suitable handoff area that does not obstruct arrivals.

Check ramps as well as height
A low sports car raises different access questions from a tall SUV. Ask about steep changes in grade, narrow turns and clearance restrictions rather than requesting a generic yes to luxury cars. Share any uncertain entrance details with the concierge. A property having valet service does not establish that every vehicle can use every garage.

Know who handles the keys
Clarify the property's parking procedure and discuss it with the rental provider before handing over the car. Ask how retrieval works, where the car is stored and whether there are restrictions relevant to the agreement. Do not leave valuables or assume that hotel arrangements replace your responsibilities under the rental terms.

Preserve space for inspection
Allow enough time and room to review the vehicle at delivery and return. A queue at the entrance is not a good place to rush through the handover. Confirm a suitable location with the concierge and the property, then arrange the return for a time when you can be present rather than relying on an informal key drop.
