The short answer
Where to start
Confirm a lawful landside meeting point and choose the car for the bags you will carry away from the marina, not only the ones you arrive with.

Name the exact entrance
A marina name can cover several buildings, access roads and controlled areas. Ask your host or the property for the appropriate landside meeting location and share it with the concierge for review. Do not assume the car can enter a dock area, wait at a gate or be left with marina staff without an agreed procedure.
02 · Planning detail
Choose the car around the shore-side load
Small leisure bags and a larger party with equipment produce different vehicle needs. Count passengers and bags together and consider an SUV when flexibility matters. Keep wet or sandy equipment appropriately contained and ask about any use or care restrictions before departure; the rental terms still apply during a marina-based itinerary.

Allow for a changing return time
Your waterfront plans may change, but the rental collection still needs a defined window. Identify a contact who can update the concierge and request changes promptly. If you need transport at a specific time regardless of the rest of the day, discuss that requirement before confirming the car. Do not assume waiting service is included.
